Account Executive Role Overview
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Account Executive to join our Corporate & Commercial team.
* This role will be based in the Hobart office and requires working at least three days a week in the office.
Key Responsibilities
* Consistently achieve agreed service standards, foster effective long-term relationships with key client decision makers, and monitor changes to preserve these relationships.
* Take a proactive approach to account management and service delivery, ensuring client needs are identified and met.
* Implement successful account retention and defence strategies, maintain awareness of large and complicated claim-related matters, and assist claims colleagues in negotiating equitable settlements.
* Possess a thorough understanding of major classes of General insurance and stay updated on technical and product developments.
* Have a comprehensive knowledge of relevant legislation, including the Insurance (Agents & Brokers) Act and Insurance Contracts Act.
Requirements
* Proven experience managing corporate client accounts, Tier 1 FSRA qualification, strong negotiation and problem-solving skills, and excellent communication skills.
* A motivation for client service and solutions, strong knowledge of account management and the insurance industry, dedication to high-level client service, and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
