We are looking for a Custody Executive to support the timely and accurate completion of settlement processes within our Markets & Securities Services Operations team. The role reports to the Senior Manager, Custody Settlements, and offers a solid opportunity for someone interested in developing their career in the securities and finance industry.
About the Role
The position focuses on meeting settlement deadlines, maintaining strong risk controls, and supporting a consistent level of service for clients. You will work closely with colleagues and counterparties while ensuring compliance with our client standards and relevant regulatory requirements, including ACH and ASX Business Rules.
Key Responsibilities
* Process, amend, match, settle and report client trade instructions across equity, debt and cash systems
* Repair trade instructions that do not process straight‐through
* Monitor transactions and assist with matching instructions with counterparties
* Track trades to completion through system monitoring and communication with internal and external stakeholders
* Work with settlement counterparties to resolve issues affecting timely settlement
What You Will Bring
* 4- 5 years of experience in the Financial / Market and Security Services industry and Custody operations
* Knowledge of the Australian debt and equity markets
* Ability to interpret and analyze system‐generated reports
* Skills in Excel and Word
* Clear communication skills and the ability to work with a range of stakeholders
* Strong attention to detail and the ability to prioritize tasks
