We are working with a small and friendly local business with a relaxed vibe, and we're looking for a confident, people-focused all-rounder to join them in a combined Sales and Administration role. If you like chatting to customers, keeping things organised and being the steady pair of hands in a busy little office, you'll fit right in.
What you'll be doing
You'll be the first point of contact for customer enquiries, both online and in person, and you'll help guide people through their purchase or service needs in a warm, low-pressure way.
Day to day, you'll also support the team with:
* Answering phone, website and email enquiries
* Assisting walk-in customers
* Preparing quotes and invoices
* Managing payments
* Organising deliveries and pickups
* After-sales support
* Liaising with the workshop
* Maintaining stock sheets and customer records
* General admin tasks
* Reporting to finance
Who we're looking for
Someone organised, upbeat and ready to pitch in where needed. You'll enjoy talking to people and building easy rapport, especially with their regular customer base.
You'll need
* Strong communication skills
* Confidence and attention to detail
* A bright, friendly personality
* Ability to work well in a small team
* Solid Microsoft Excel skills
* Experience with MYOB, Word, websites or social media ads is a bonus
