The Role As part of ABC Capricornia, you’ll play a key part in delivering fast, accurate and engaging journalism that reflects the people, places and issues of Central Queensland. You’ll work closely with a supportive editorial team to develop original story ideas, respond to breaking news, and create distinctive content for digital, social, radio and television platforms. This role is ideal for a journalist who enjoys being out in the community, building trusted relationships, and uncovering stories that matter both locally and nationally The Job Generate, research and produce compelling news content across multiple platforms including digital, radio and television. Present news bulletins, interviews, Q&As and packages, including coverage of breaking news. Contribute ideas to planning and commissioning meetings to drive strong audience reach and engagement.
