The Details
As a medical receptionist, you'll be one of the first points of contact for patients, playing a key role in delivering the welcoming and professional experience the practice is known for. Your daily responsibilities will include:
* Greeting and assisting patients in person and over the phone.
* Scheduling appointments and managing bookings.
* Supporting the surgeons, sports doctors, and admin team with day-to-day tasks.
* Handling Medicare, health fund, and third-party billing (training will be provided).
* Using practice software to maintain accurate records (experience with Genie is a bonus, but not required).
About You
We're looking for someone who is:
* Warm, approachable, and compassionate with patients.
* Organised and reliable, with a calm presence during busy moments.
* A genuine team player who enjoys collaborating with others.
* Experienced in medical reception or administration (preferred, but not essential).
