Job Opportunity: Tax Accountant
We are seeking a highly skilled Tax Accountant to join our team. As a key member of our accounting department, you will be responsible for handling client files from start to finish, preparing financial statements, and lodging income tax returns.
The ideal candidate will have 2-3 years of experience working in an Australian accounting firm environment, a tertiary qualification in accounting or finance, and knowledge of MYOB and XERO.
Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare financial statements for companies, trusts, partnerships, and sole traders
* Prepare and lodge income tax returns, BAS, IAS, and FBT returns
* Maintain accurate client files and ensure all compliance deadlines are met
Requirements:
* CA/CPA qualifications or studying towards
* Ability to manage a client file from start to finish with minimal supervision
* Tertiary qualification in accounting/commerce/finance
