Account Executive for Federal Government Accounts
We are seeking a results-driven Account Executive to partner with Australia's federal government agencies, enabling better decision-making through data.
* Own the sales cycle for defined sets of federal government accounts, from identifying opportunities to closing strategic deals.
* Develop tailored account plans aligned to government goals and procurement processes.
* Build strong relationships with key public sector decision-makers, influencers, and executives.
* Collaborate cross-functionally with teams to deliver impactful engagements.
* Showcase Tableau's capabilities in solving real-world government data challenges.
* Maintain high standards of CRM forecasting and account documentation.
Requirements
* A successful track record in enterprise or public sector solution selling, ideally in SaaS, analytics, or data platforms.
* Prior experience working with or selling into federal government agencies is highly desirable.
* Understanding of government procurement and digital transformation objectives.
* Strong interpersonal, influencing, and stakeholder engagement skills within complex organisations.
* Able to lead engagements with government clients and collaborate across teams.
