The successful candidate will principally be responsible for onboarding and supporting our volunteer workforce into placements within our diverse range of services throughout the North and North-West of Tasmania. The role will also support management in staff recruitment and group volunteering.
As a representative of the People & Culture team, you will also be responsible for strongly supporting and promoting the Christian culture and ethos of the Mission.

Responsibilities
The Coordinator Recruitment and Placement is responsible for providing supervision and administrative support to ensure the effective mobilisation of LCM's large volunteer workforce in the North and North-West of the State. Primarily the Coordinator Recruitment and Placement will be responsible for: Onboarding, interviewing, inducting and placing volunteers; liaising with the stakeholders to place volunteers and volunteer groups, supporting the volunteer experience and any relevant administration.
Selection Criteria
Essential Qualifications/Experience
Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role.
Diploma of Human Resource Management or equivalent.
Systems focused with a high-level attention to detail.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Effective interviewing and listening skills.
Ability to prioritise to meet conflicting deadlines.
Highly competent in MS Office.
Database Management experience.
Ability to work within a varied and geographically diverse team to achieve goals and deadlines.
Current driver's licence.
National Police Check is required for all roles at LCM.
Registration to Work with Vulnerable People is required for all roles at LCM.
Desirable Qualifications/Experience
An understanding of Work for the Dole and Mutual Obligation requirements.
Ability to liaise with external stakeholders to achieve mutually beneficial results.
WHS awareness.
Experience or demonstrated capacity to work in an organisation adopting a Christian ethos.
Previous experience in Community Services and/or Recruitment.
