Job Title: Clinical Psychology Specialist
About the Role:
We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Psychologist to join our team as a Clinical Psychology Specialist. In this role, you will provide high-quality clinical psychology services to patients referred to Rockingham Peel Group.
Main Responsibilities:
You will work within a multidisciplinary and professional team context to provide clinical, consultant, educational, and research psychology services with individuals, couples, families, groups, other professionals, and organizational systems.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide clinical psychology services to patients referred to Rockingham Peel Group
* Work within a multidisciplinary and professional team context to provide clinical, consultant, educational, and research psychology services
* Develop and implement evidence-based psychological interventions for clients 18 -35 years old for individual and group interventions
* Provide intensive day therapy for individuals 18 -65 years old for individual assessment, therapy, and group interventions
* Assess, develop, and implement treatment plans for clients with complex mental health conditions
* Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care to clients
* Participate in quality improvement initiatives to enhance the delivery of clinical psychology services

Our Mental Health service is a community-based organization that provides a range of services and programs for adults and older adults who are based in Rockingham and Peel. Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
Qualifications:
* Master's degree or Ph.D. in Clinical Psychology from an Australian university
* Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Skills and Experience:
* Proven experience in providing clinical psychology services in a hospital or community setting
* Strong understanding of adult mental health and developmental psychology theories and principles
* Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with other healthcare professionals
* Experience in developing and implementing evidence-based psychological interventions
* Familiarity with electronic health records and practice management software
