About the role
Based in our Cambridge facility and reporting to the Joinery Services Manager, this role requires an experienced Timber Joiner to perform a range of site and workshop-based tasks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Responsible for completing quality joinery in our workshop;
* Interpretation of drawings, prepare timber and organise all components to manufacture quality products to client specifications;
* Work well in a team environment;
* Manufacture and installation of timber windows, stairs and doors;
* Use of various machinery such as a thicknesser, planer, buzzer, sander, spindle moulder, tenoner, morticer and table saw.
Skills & Experience:
* Must have a relevant trade certificate in joinery;
* Ability to use their own initiative
* Has a high level of accuracy
* Ability to follow written & oral instructions;
* Enjoys the practical aspects of being a tradesman;
* Adaptive to continuous safety, efficiency, and quality checks/improvements.
