Leisure and Lifestyle Assistant, Grade 1 (IN31 - $28.84 p/h) or Grade 2 (IN32 - $31.65 p/h)
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join the West Gippsland Healthcare Group in the role of a leisure and lifestyle assistant. Reporting to the Lifestyle Coordinator and Nurse Manager, you will work within a motivated and dedicated team that provides the support and entertainment to residents living at Cooinda Lodge. This stimulating role would suit someone enthusiastic, creative, flexible, enjoys working within a team and is dedicated to providing great service to their client group.
Qualifications
* Certificate IV in Lifestyle or Leisure or Certificate III/IV in Allied Health Assistant
* Advanced computer skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel
* A thorough understanding and respect for confidentiality requirements
* Responsible and mature work attitude
Preferred Qualifications
* Previous experience in Residential Aged care – Lifestyle programs
* Knowledge of privacy legislation and document control
* Knowledge of the Aged Care Quality and Safety Standards
IMPORTANT: Some roles in the healthcare sector are required to be vaccinated annually for Influenza (unless a valid exemption applies). Evidence of vaccination (or exemption) will be required to be provided prior to commencement. About our organisation
