Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and organized facilities coordinator to oversee the efficient running of our warehouse operations.
The ideal candidate will have experience in managing facilities, teams, and maintaining high standards of work health and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage facilities maintenance, subcontractors, and point of contact for building owners.
* Review and update warehouse operating procedures.
* Oversee services such as fire systems, roller door repair, painting, signage, electrical repairs, locksmiths, plumbers, and air conditioning.
* Manage waste management for Sydney site and other locations.
Work Health and Safety:
* E nsure compliance with all Health and Safety legislation and guidelines.
* Oversee health, safety, and environmental aspects of FM delivery.
* Complete site safety inspections.
* Conduct inductions for new team members and oversee external visitors/contractors.
Warehouse Operations:
* Manage Warehouse Officer and backup during peak times.
* Perform morning visual inspections and Telehandler maintenance.
* Manage space allocations and storage.
Requirements:
* Proven experience in warehouse or facilities management.
* Ability to operate common warehouse equipment.
* Organized, detail-oriented, and positive attitude.
* Strong interpersonal and relationship management skills.
Working Conditions:
* Frequent lifting of cartons up to 16kg.
* Occasional lifting of cartons up to 35kg using trolley equipment or two-person lifting.
* Frequent bending, reaching, standing, and walking.
