About the Position
This is an exciting opportunity to join the Shire of Ashburton’s Aquatics team in Tom Price as Swimming Pool Manager.
In this role, you will lead the delivery of safe, compliant and high-quality aquatic services while supporting and guiding a team of aquatic staff in a dynamic regional environment. This position includes Shire-provided housing, supporting your transition to regional living.
Reporting to the Swimming Pool Coordinator, you will oversee the day-to-day operations of the facility, ensuring water quality, safety and operational standards are consistently maintained. You will provide on-shift leadership to Pool Duty Managers and staff, fostering a positive and accountable team culture.
You will balance hands-on operational duties with leadership responsibilities, contributing to rostering, reporting, continuous improvement and the delivery of aquatic programs that support community engagement. Mandatory qualifications include a C Class Driver’s Licence, LIWA membership, Pool Operator Accreditation (Class 1), Working with Children Check, current First Aid Certificate, and a Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
