This is a unique and newly created opportunity for a highly motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our team as an Assistant Manager of this stunning property.
NRMA Batemans Bay Holiday Park is located on the water at Corrigans Beach and only a few minutes drive from town. Boasting a lagoon-style swimming pool, jumping pillow and mini golf course, there is plenty to do at the park and the surrounding area.
**The Role**:
You will report to and assist the Park Manager to manage an efficient and reliable park operation through the provision of a consistently high standard of Park presentation. You will provide management with assistance in maintaining the park grounds and facilities, ensuring the overall appearance and security are to the highest possible standard. This role requires on call/after hours duties on a rostered basis.
**Core responsibilities include**:
- Oversee and provide general support and assistance to the front office, housekeeping, maintenance and activities departments
- Provide oversight to the day to day running of the park including front office duties, when the park manager is away.
- Displaying a hands-on approach to the park including guest interaction.
- Acknowledging all employees are valued and important members of the park team and maintaining leadership credibility in all areas of the park operation by exhibiting consistent high standards of personal ethics.
- Monitoring and maintaining a high standard of safety of all guests, visitors and employees
**How Do You Measure Up?**
You will be able to demonstrate experience in team leadership and engagement. You will have a flexible attitude to work and the passion to work as part of a team, who are hands on, confident and have a passion for delivering outstanding guest expereince.
- Previous experience in either maintenance, front office, housekeeping departments, or hospitality.
- Outstanding guest relations and communications skills and the ability to relate to and host guests from a wide range of nationalities and backgrounds.
- Proven ability to juggle competing priorities.
- Knowledge of relevant statutory/regulatory requirements impacting on resort operations such as Environmental Legislation
- A general understanding of safety legislation/procedures/culture
- A general understanding of guest and customer booking systems and excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A hands-on leader; you walk the talk.
