Job Overview:
As an electrical cost estimator, you will play a pivotal role in securing high-value projects by providing accurate and timely quotations. You will work closely with clients, engineers, and suppliers to develop detailed quotations that reflect technical excellence and commercial competitiveness.
Responsibilities include:
* Responding to Requests for Quotation (RFQs) by analysing project specifications, drawings, and scope documents
* Preparing comprehensive and competitive cost estimates for electrical projects
* Liaising with clients, engineers, suppliers, and internal teams to clarify project details and negotiate costs
* Conducting post-bid analysis on successful and unsuccessful tenders to refine estimating processes
The ideal candidate will have experience as an Electrical Estimator, a strong technical understanding of electrical systems, and proficiency with estimating software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
