Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Automotive Electrician to join our Mobile Maintenance team at a gold mine located in New South Wales.
The successful candidate will be accountable for performing routine and preventative maintenance tasks on the production fleet, ensuring that all work is carried out in accordance with company values, safety protocols, and environmental regulations.
* Provide technical support and guidance on all aspects of mobile fleet maintenance
* Identify and report any potential risks or component failures promptly
* Collaborate with supervisors and peers to maintain effective control over maintenance costs
* Develop and maintain positive working relationships with internal and external clients
Requirements:
* Trade qualification in Automotive Electrical Technology (Certificate III) or equivalent
* Current driver's license in NSW
* Proven post-trade experience in on-site repairs and maintenance in the heavy industry, preferably within mining
* Solid understanding of diagnostic tools and electrical systems
* Strong commitment to safety and teamwork
* Knowledge of SAP or similar systems is highly regarded
Work Arrangements:
This is a permanent full-time position based at the gold mine operation in NSW. The successful candidate will be required to work a 7-day on / 7 off / 7 nights on / 7 off roster, with each shift being 12 hours long, from Thursday to Wednesday.
