This is a creative role for a customer obsessed professional. You will be a collaborative team-member who isn't satisfied until you 'internal client' is completely happy with the finished product, but you are also someone who is creative and not afraid to bring new ideas and different options as to how something can be done.
Key responsibilities:
- Assist in the filming and editing of content tailored for specific audiences and formats including podcasts/vlogcasts, short and long videos that will be distributed across a variety of digital platforms and channels including web, social (Facebook, Twitter/X and Instagram), podcast platforms and YouTube.
- Assist in the media studio with camera operation, lighting, sound and set design.
- Assist in developing other materials such as sound and music composition.
- Organise, update and file photo and video content.
- Provide audio-visual assistance during events.
- Assist in publishing material on relevant platofrs (YouTube, Spotify etc.)
- Assist in bringing innovation to the storytelling experience, creating new and engaging content that leverages the potential of our purpose-built media studio.
- Proactively work with key stakeholders within the organisation to quickly create content that leverages events in the media cycle.
The successful candidate will demonstrate:
- Relevant qualifications such as multimedia and/or broadcast communications will be highly regarded
- Proven experience in audio and video production/editing
- Hands-on technical skills in audio and video production, including using the Adobe Creative Cloud including Premiere Pro and After Affects
- Very high attention to detail
- Broadcast experience, such as vision switching and audio mixing beneficial
- Ability to create video graphics and/or animations highly regarded
- Working knowledge of Adobe's Photoshop and Illustrator programs advantageous
