Reporting to the Manager of Collateral Business, the Accessories Planning & Development Specialist is responsible for supporting new vehicle sales through the offering of accessories designed to meet customer needs and positively contribute to overall sales and profit of our Honda and its networks.
This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity
How you'll make an impact
Lead Product planning activities to formulate a strong Accessory lineup to suit the Australian market
Conduct market research and competitive analysis to identify customer needs
Collaborate with global and regional stakeholders to negotiate accessory offerings and pricing
Exploring local development of accessories for cost efficiency and customer experience
Building and setting Pricing in line with Honda Australia and Honda Centre margin targets
Assisting the Parts team in ordering to avoid over stocking
Develop product roadmaps and pricing strategies aligned with business targets
Coordinate Go-To-Market (GTM) activities including launch plans, accessory fitment, and marketing
Monitor accessory performance and manage lifecycle decisions
What you'll bring to Honda
A degree in Business, Commerce, Marketing, or equivalent experience in a related field
4+ years' experience in Automotive, Product Planning, Product Management, or a similar role—automotive industry experience preferred
A proven track record in successfully launching and managing products
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify core issues and develop effective solutions
High attention to detail and accuracy in all aspects of work
Ability to turn insights into clear, logical proposals and communicate them effectively to stakeholders
Excellent communication and relationship management skills across internal and external teams
Experience in project management is a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word at an advanced level is preferred
