About the Role
We are seeking an organised and safety‐focused Stores Attendant to join our team at Olympic Dam, South Australia, on a 14/7 FIFO roster. This role is responsible for receiving, managing, and maintaining stock, while supporting on‐site operations with accurate inventory control and safe material handling.
Key Responsibilities
* Receive, inspect, and record all incoming goods and materials.
* Organise, rotate, and maintain stock in a clean, orderly, and compliant manner.
* Defrost goods according to menu requirements and scheduled timelines.
* Conduct regular stock checks and assist with inventory audits.
* Safely operate forklifts and other material‐handling equipment.
* Maintain accurate entries within inventory management systems.
* Ensure compliance with workplace health and safety standards.
* Liaise with supervisors and internal teams to meet stock and operational needs.
* Report discrepancies, damages, or shortages promptly.
Skills & Qualifications
* Previous experience in stores, warehousing, or inventory control.
* Knowledge of stock management processes and inventory systems.
* Current forklift licence and demonstrated forklift operating experience.
* Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
* Effective communication and teamwork abilities.
* Basic computer literacy, including inventory software.
Physical Requirements
* Ability to safely lift, carry, and move materials as required.
* Comfortable working in warehouse, storage, and cold-room/freezer environments.
