Overview
The African Reef Hotel in Geraldton is looking for an experienced Cook to join the team. You will be working in an energetic, friendly environment with a dedicated Head Chef and team who are supportive and like a family. This is a fast-paced kitchen opportunity for a professional cook seeking variety and quality in a busy venue.
Responsibilities
* Manage your own sections and deliver a consistently high standard of food throughout service.
* Take pride in food presentation and always ensure top quality.
* Maintain good verbal and written communication with colleagues and supervisors.
* Adhere to Food Hygiene compliance, knowledge and practices.
* Be available for a rotating roster across Monday to Sunday.
* Work approximately 38 hours per week.
Qualifications
* Minimum 2 years experience in a professional kitchen environment.
* Able to work 5 days across a 7-day operation.
* Qualifications or trade experience equivalent.
* Flexible and willing attitude with clear communication and customer service skills.
* Immaculate grooming and pride in presentation.
* Experience in busy commercial kitchens across a variety of cuisines and styles.
* Completed Trade Qualifications.
