About Us
Kaali Indian Restaurant is a well-established and highly rated Indian restaurant located in the heart of Noosa Heads. We pride ourselves on authentic flavours, excellent customer service, and a warm dining atmosphere. We are now seeking an experienced and motivated Restaurant Manager to lead our front-of-house operations and support our growing team.
Key Responsibilities
* Oversee daily restaurant operations to ensure smooth and efficient service
* Lead, train, and supervise front-of-house staff
* Deliver exceptional customer service and handle customer feedback professionally
* Manage staff rosters, attendance, and performance
* Ensure compliance with food safety, hygiene, and workplace health & safety standards
* Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure quality and timely food service
* Manage reservations, POS systems, and cash handling
* Control costs, monitor stock levels, and place orders as required
* Support marketing initiatives, promotions, and special events
* Maintain restaurant presentation, cleanliness, and overall ambience
Skills & Experience Required
* Previous experience as a Restaurant Manager or Assistant Manager (Indian cuisine experience preferred but not essential)
* Strong leadership and team management skills
* Excellent communication and customer service abilities
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
* Knowledge of Australian workplace regulations and food safety standards
* Experience with POS systems and reservation platforms
* Flexible availability including evenings, weekends, and public holidays
