The Clinical Nurse Consultant is a senior Registered Nurse who will provide clinical nursing leadership and operationally be responsible for supporting the First Nations Holistic Wellbeing Service - Murrumba Targan Djimbulung. The position is accountable/responsible for the initial planning and implementation of the Service model of care and to work collaboratively/in consultation, to evaluate this new model of care to align with the West Moreton strategic plan and Department of Healthcare Purchasing and System Performance Branch performance outcomes.
The role will work towards the priorities established under the West Moreton First Nations Health Equity Strategy and work closely with colleagues across the health continuum to optimise resources, share innovation and ensure consistent clinical practices and cultural appropriateness of care provision across the hospital and community sectors.
