Responsibilities
* Lead Curriculum Development and Teaching: Develop and deliver innovative nursing education programmes using online and blended modes, ensure quality placements, and apply contemporary pedagogical approaches.
* Advance Nursing Scholarship: Contribute to evidence-based practice in nursing programmes and lead scholarly outputs to enhance nursing education.
* Provide Educational Leadership: Participate in departmental planning, engage in professional development, and build a local profile in nursing education through community involvement.
* Ensure Programme Quality: Coordinate subjects and courses, review student satisfaction, and participate in peer review of teaching to maintain high educational standards.
Qualifications and fit
* Registered nurse with AHPRA and hold a PhD in nursing.
* Experience in delivering nursing programmes and coordinating curriculum development.
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder engagement.
* Commitment to ethical scholarship and valuing diversity.
* Post-graduate qualification in university teaching (desirable).
* Established profile in the scholarship of learning and teaching (desirable).
Base pay and benefits
Base pay range: A$149,701.00/yr – A$172,613.00/yr
Salary: $149,071 - $172,613 per annum (pro rata for part time) plus 17% superannuation
