Central Regional TAFE is responsible for delivering customer focused, industry aligned training and pathways to higher education to build a skilled, productive and employment ready workforce. We deliver 185 courses to 10,000 students each year in the Mid West region - Geraldton, Batavia Coast Maritime Institute and Technology Park, the Gascoyne region - Carnarvon and Exmouth, the Goldfields region – Kalgoorlie and the Wheatbelt region - Northam, Merredin and Moora.

About the role

The LMS Project Support Officer plays a key role in supporting the College's transition to a new Learning Management System (LMS). The position is responsible for assisting with the accurate and efficient migration of course content from the previous system, ensuring materials are well structured and ready for delivery in online and blended learning environments. Working closely with lecturers and content experts, the LMS Project Support Officer helps review, organise, and adapt learning materials to support effective teaching and learning.

The role also involves system administration tasks, including testing and validating migrated content to ensure quality, consistency, and usability. In addition, the position provides practical support and guidance to staff and students during the transition, responding to queries, troubleshooting issues, and assisting with training activities as required. The LMS Project Support Officer must be able to manage competing priorities, meet project timelines, and deliver a high standard of friendly, client-focused service.
