About the Role
This is an opportunity to make a positive impact in the lives of children and families by working as a Child Protection Caseworker. The role involves responding to reports of safety concerns surrounding children or young people who may have been harmed.
You will work sensitively and respectfully with parents, family members, children or young people, while collaborating with other agencies and engaging in complex problem solving.
Developing safety plans and completing risk assessments are key responsibilities, along with managing cases and situations including working with high needs and high-risk clients and their families.
Being involved in court processes, including the preparation of court documents and attending court, is also a part of this role.
A Child Protection Caseworker must be confident, curious and resilient. Key qualifications include a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Social Work, Social Science and Welfare, along with practical experience.
