Overview
Monadelphous Mining and Minerals North West is looking for a brand new Project Accountant to join our Port and East Pilbara team! This role will be an essential addition to our Commercial team, assisting with accounting practices vital to our client relationships. You will see yourself working alongside our established team as we manage costs across our operations within the Port Hedland and Newman & Surrounds areas. This is a Full Time Opportunity, working Monday to Friday in our Victoria Park Head Office.

Key Responsibilities
* Payroll & Timesheet reviews, ensuring data is accurate and up to date
* Claim submission, encapsulating all costs for our contracts
* Cost Control tasks, including managing client cashflow, monitoring budget tracking and spending and identifying any discrepancies
* Generation of procurement orders and ensure these align with budget values
* Review and Transfer of costs to correct codes
* Maintenance of financial registers
* Assistance with end of month reporting, including WIP, BU and GM reports
What you'll bring
* Tertiary degree in Accounting is essential
* 2 Years experience in a similar accounting role is preferred
* Exposure to the mining industry, specifically Iron Ore
* Strong attention to detail is essential
* Sound written and verbal communication skills
