The Role
Reporting into the Engineering Manager, you will; Lead full project life cycle engineering from PLC and control systems design, development, implementation and commissioning onsite
Lead complex projects, mentoring junior engineers
Contribute to the continuous improvement of control systems processes
Some travel is required and night time work
Skills and Experience Required
You are a natural engineer who enjoys the challenge of providing complex solutions for demanding clients. It is essential you bring: Tertiary qualifications in Engineering
5 years+ of complex Industrial Automation solutions, ideally in Materials Handling such as Parcel Sortation, Conveyor Systems, etc
Design of complex control systems architectures and specifications for controls systems
Development of control system code, providing expertise in programming languages, standards and tools
Strong understand of automation systems
Ability to prepare and present complex technical data
Analytical and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail
