Your Role at Our Organisation
As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in coordinating the provision of high-level administrative services to our Outpatient Department.
The main responsibilities of this position include:
* Providing a reception service to meet the daily requirements for outpatient services;
* Creating and maintaining patient information in our Patient Administration System in a timely manner;
* Monitoring and managing waitlists for all specialties to ensure patients are booked within timeframe of category;
* Ensuring all appointments are correctly booked into WebPAS and patients are appropriately notified of their appointments and any costs involved;
* Receiving all Outpatient-related telephone calls, evaluating and initiating any action required;
* Updating and maintaining Genie database as required;
* Submitting invoices to Private Health Funds as required.
Key Skills and Qualifications:
* Experience in varied clerical duties and reception with a strong front line and customer focus;
* Proven strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to be flexible and work as part of a team;
* Proficiency in the use of varied computer software packages including Patient Administration systems and MS Office products including Word, Outlook and Excel;
* Accurate data processing/keyboard skills;
* Ability to demonstrate initiative and organise and prioritise administrative tasks with minimal supervision.
