Responsibilities
* Assisting in the smooth operation of the F&B department
* Creating a seamless dining experience for our guests making everyone feel welcome and valued
* Ensuring all team members are confident and competent in selling menu items, beverage items and hotel services
* Animate the restaurant and bar to make it fun, unique and an enjoyable experience for all guests through creative activations and events
* The ability to coordinate and manage the day‑to‑day F&B operations whilst leading and inspiring the team to enhance the guest experience every guest every interaction every day
* Exceptional leadership skills with demonstrated results in developing and motivating teams. Your lead‑by‑example approach will be infectious
* Be a calming influence amid a highly pressured fast‑paced environment with the ability to sustain and drive positive morale creating a culture that people want to be a part of
* Have a flexible approach to adapting to guest requests and have the necessary skills to actively resolve complaints and challenges presented by customers
Qualifications
* Experience in food & beverage operations ideally within the hotel industry
* Experienced with local marketing knowledge in the restaurant industry is highly desired
* Have the ability to think on your feet and solve problems
* Highly organised self‑starter with the ability to effectively manage priorities
* The ability and flexibility to work various rostered shifts including early mornings, late evenings and weekends
* Good communication and interpersonal skills with a high level of organisation accuracy and attention to detail
* Demonstrated high‑quality service standard
* Previous supervisor experience
* Your Responsible Service of Alcohol (RSA) Certificate
