Your Day-to-Day Will Include Orchestrating the end-to-end payroll process for all department staff. Interpreting and applying legislation, awards, and enterprise agreements with precision. Maintaining rock-solid data integrity across payroll systems while upholding confidentiality. Preparing and lodging accurate reports and payments. Serving as the go-to expert for payroll queries from employees and external stakeholders. Driving audits, compliance checks, and continuous improvement projects. Supporting and coaching your payroll team with empathy, clarity, and purpose. You Bring Deep experience managing payroll in complex environments - ideally in the government sector. Mastery of payroll legislation, enterprise agreements, and HR/finance integration. Technical savvy with payroll systems and the full Microsoft Office Suite. Laser-sharp attention to detail and time management. A commitment to discretion and confidentiality in all things people and payroll. Excellent communication skills and the ability to navigate sensitive queries with professionalism. Desirable but Not Essential Tertiary qualifications in Business, HR, or a related field. Familiarity with ERP systems Previous experience working within government or the public sector. What We Offer Great salary on offer from $110k -$115k plus superannuation.
