Job Description
Join a dynamic environment as a Payroll Officer within our National Payroll team based in Minchinbury, NSW. There is one full-time permanent and one 18-month contract opportunity.

What does the role look like?
* Day to day execution of a fortnightly payroll for 1700+ employees.
* Calculation and processing of payroll related payments for PAYG tax, authorised payroll deductions, superannuation, parental leave, GPPL, Long Service Leave and manual payments.
* Set up of new starters, maintain employee records, processing contract changes and offboarding.
* Respond to and resolve payroll enquiries in an accurate and customer centric manner with internal stakeholder at various levels.
* Provide advice regarding NES, Fair Work, and any other relevant payroll legislation (including ALDI internal policies and enterprise agreements).

Qualifications
* Demonstrated proven experience in a payroll position.
* Previous experience in Chris21/iChris payroll software is highly regarded.
* Using large-scale time and attendance systems is a strong advantage.
* Solid knowledge in managing employee onboarding, processing terminations, and accurately calculating Long Service Leave (LSL) payments.
* Exceptional attention to detail combined with excellent time management skills, ensuring precision and timely completion of payroll tasks.
* Proficient intermediate-level skills in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, to enable effective reporting.

Remuneration
* Transparent tiered salary range of $96,800 - $107,000 including Superannuation.
