Family Day Care Administration Officer
Full time, work-from-home position based on the Sunshine Coast, commencing in January.
Key Responsibilities
Provide high-level administrative support across the Family Day Care service.
Manage incoming enquiries via phone and email.
Maintain accurate records for educators, families, and children.
Support educator documentation including Blue Cards, insurances and training currency.
Prepare enrolment packs, documentation, and compliance registers.
Assist with scheduling, reporting and event preparation (e.g., playgroups, PD sessions).
Process educator timesheets and pay documentation.
Generate and send invoices, track outstanding payments and assist with debt recovery.
Reconcile accounts and maintain financial records.
Ensure confidentiality and compliance with organisational policies and regulations.
About You
You’ll succeed in this role if you are proactive, detail-focused, and confident working independently in a remote setting.
Qualifications
Previous administration experience (childcare, education or community services desirable).
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Robust computer literacy – Microsoft Office and general digital tools.
High attention to detail and the ability to manage competing priorities.
Ability to build positive relationships with educators and families.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Requirements
Current Blue Card (or willingness to obtain).
National Police Check.
Suitable home workspace and reliable internet connection.
Knowledge of Family Day Care, CCS, or NQF frameworks is desirable but not essential.
