Emu Park State School is seeking Expressions of Interest for a Head of Special Education Services (HOSES) for a temporary period from 19 May 2025 to 27 June 2025.
This is a full-time temporary vacancy for Term 2, with potential extensions up to 12 months. This opportunity is open to Expressions of Interest.

About The Role
As the Head of Special Education Services, your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
Managing and coordinating advice and support from the Special Education and Early Childhood Development Programs.
Leading these programs and providing advice to classroom teachers for students with disabilities.
Offering high-quality advice to school leadership and staff for planning and implementing reasonable adjustments for students with disabilities.
Coordinating targeted teaching and intervention for students in need.
Providing case management for students requiring significant adjustments.
Supporting staff in accessing specialist services and professional development.
Participating in school decision-making and professional development to support school goals and vision.
Implementing systems to monitor and record data on students with disabilities.
Forming partnerships with parents, government agencies, and community groups.
Managing resources to achieve the role's objectives.
