Location: Brisbane, Australia. This position is based in our Brisbane office with a split of office work and work from home.
What you'll do
* Design engaging, functional experiences — from wireframes to clickable prototypes.
* Map user journeys, process flows, and screen layouts that tell the "why" behind your design.
* Collaborate with the Lead UX Designer, Product Owners, Business Analysts, Engineers, and subject-matter experts to refine ideas and nail the details.
* Dive into user research and testing, turning feedback into smarter, stronger designs.
* Apply (and contribute to) the EventsAir Design System to maintain consistency across the platform.
* Contribute to big initiatives and design reviews with your creative input.
* Clearly communicate design intent to developers so users get exactly what you imagined.
What you'll bring
* 5–8 years of UX/Product Design experience (bonus points for SaaS or tech products).
* A portfolio that demonstrates user-centred design.
* Fluency in Figma and other design essentials.
* A knack for using AI-powered design tools to speed work and spark innovation.
* Hands-on experience with user research and usability testing.
* Strong collaboration in cross-functional teams.
* A solid understanding of accessibility and inclusive design principles.
* Flexibility to pivot as priorities change.
* A passion for crafting high-quality design balancing creativity with pragmatism.
