About the role
DRA are currently looking for experienced CHPP Operator/Maintainers (Electrical/Mechanical) to assist our team on a coal processing site in Central Queensland. This is a full time, max term (September 2025) opportunity based on a 7/7 roster with accommodation provided. Whilst Rockhampton and Townsville are our primary FIFO hubs we encourage and will consider applicants from all regional Queensland communities.
5. Operate and monitor the preparation plant
6. Perform breakdown maintenance tasks as required
7. Operate stockpile dozers to manage the product coal stockpile, reclaim operations and train loading
8. Maintain CHPP equipment as requested during scheduled maintenance periods
9. Housekeeping and general maintenance of all areas of the CHPP and Train Loadout
Role requirements
10. Mechanical or Electrical Trade Qualification
11. Relevant experience as an Operator Maintainer on a Processing Plant - Desirable
12. Would also consider other Trades with suitable skills and relevant experience
13. Current Australian Drivers License - Essential
14. Right to Work in Australia
15. Current Standard 11 or ability to obtain
16. Current Coal Board Medical or ability to obtain
17. SARC Cert (Safety Access Rail Corridor) - Highly regarded
18. Current LVR/CPR - Highly regarded
19. Demonstrated safety focus with the ability to work safely and effectively as part of a dynamic team
