Job Role and Responsibilities
The Australian Cyber Security Centres (ACSC) require Lead Operations Coordinators to support their data and analytics capabilities. These roles involve close collaboration with internal teams, business units, and external customers to ensure effective day-to-day operations.
Security Screening Process
Candidates must undergo the ASDs Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA) prior to engagement. This process includes a psychological assessment, questionnaire, and interview. Topics covered may include personal relationships, financial history, physical and mental health, substance use, and any civil or military records. The start date is contingent on successful OSA clearance.
Main Responsibilities
* Support business areas as capability SME for operational activities
* Triage and process alerts related to fleet health and operations
* Assist the Fleet Operations Manager in performance monitoring and fleet stability
* Ensure operational workloads are tracked in Jira
* Support capability development through testing, deployment, and operational readiness
* Tune and enhance systems in alignment with best practice and threat intelligence
* Contribute to capability planning and roadmap development

Key Requirements
* Takes full responsibility for managing and investigating Information Security incidents. Ensures alignment between Information Security incident management, generic incident management, and business continuity processes. Advises on corporate response to incidents.
* Recognised authority on Cyber and Information Risk Management within a major organisation or across a range of clients.
* Independently produces Information Security requirements for third parties and/or conducts compliance reviews.
* Demonstrated ability to perform root cause problem analysis in a complex environment or system; demonstrated experience using automation to improve operational processes.
* Demonstrated experience or understanding of key security and risk management concepts including GRC, Incident Response / DFIR, Security Operations / Engineering, Penetration Testing.
