About the role:
The School is currently seeking a Secondary Visual Arts Teacher. The successful candidate will join a team of passionate educators committed to providing our students with a well-rounded education.
The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of secondary schooling in a girls educational environment and will have expertise with high-quality pedagogical practices. The role will be a fixed-term, full-time position commencing on 7 October, 2025 until 31 October, 2025.
We are seeking to appoint a capable and dynamic Teacher, with a knowledge of the Australian Curriculum and QCAA syllabus. The Glennie School prides itself on the values that are imparted to students and will require the successful applicant to be supportive of the Anglican Ethos and comply with all state and legislative requirements under the operation of an independent school.
About You:
Tertiary qualifications and current Queensland College of Teachers registration.
Experience in delivering education content with a commitment to teaching excellence.
Have a deep understanding of the Principles of Instruction, High Impact Teaching Strategies and visible thinking routines, and how to implement them in a classroom setting.
Supportive of innovative classroom practice and inspires within all students an appreciation of the subject.
Ability to differentiate for a diverse group of non-selective students and teach to the strengths of girls.
Strong interpersonal skills, enabling harmonious and positive relationships.
Demonstrate excellence in communication, organisation, and time management skills.
Willingness to continue to develop as a Teacher.
