We aim to help you build a fulfilling career with Lifeblood.About the roleOur Shepparton Donor Centre is seeking a Registered Nurse with excellent customer-facing experience and a genuine passion for delivering exceptional service to our donors. As a Registered Nurse, you will support donors through their donation process and collaborate to achieve collection targets. Your day may include:Greeting and interviewing potential donors to assess their eligibilityConducting routine blood pressure and haemoglobin testsSetting up machines, tubing, and collection bagsSafely inserting and removing needles for blood, plasma, and platelets collectionProviding clinical oversight and guiding team members in blood collectionManaging adverse donor reactions with instructions and assistanceMonitoring donors post-donation and assisting with rebookingWe provide paid, flexible, self-paced training combining on-the-job practice and online classes to support you. Besides a passion for delivering an excellent donor experience, you should be able to:Occasionally lift between 9-22.7 kgFrequently stand, walk, and bend to set up and pack away equipmentUse your nursing expertise with a current AHPRA registrationWork varied shifts on a fortnightly rotating roster from Monday to SaturdayThis role is offered on a permanent part-time basis with 48 hours per fortnight.
