About the role
We're looking for Electrical Tradespeople to join our Rollingstock Maintenance team in Ceduna.
In this role, you'll carry out inspections, fault‐finding, servicing and repairs across locomotives, wagons, plant and infrastructure. You'll use your trade skills to ensure our assets are safe, reliable and ready to support freight operations across the network.
Responsibilities
* Perform scheduled maintenance and reactive repairs on rollingstock and support plant
* Fault‐finding using schematics, drawings, tools and diagnostic equipment
* Work on electrical systems within your trade scope
* Undertake train examinations and operate fixed/mobile plant as needed
* Support derailment recovery and field response work when required
* Accurately complete work orders and follow safety procedures
* Provide on‐the‐job support or guidance to apprentices or other team members
About you
We're after trade‐qualified team players with a strong safety mindset and a hands‐on approach.
* Electrical Trade Certificate (mandatory)
* Valid A‐Class Electrical Licence
* Ability to interpret schematic diagrams and technical documentation
* Flexibility to work across various shifts as required – roster details will be discussed at interview
* Strong fault‐finding and problem‐solving ability
* Committed to safe work practices and team‐based maintenance
* Unrestricted C‐Class Driver's Licence
* Physically fit and able to meet rail medical requirements
