Role Overview:
As a Disability Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centered support to individuals with disabilities, helping them achieve their goals and live fulfilling lives. You will assist with daily living activities, community participation, and personal care, ensuring dignity and respect in all interactions.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support clients in community engagement and social activities.
* Assist with household tasks to maintain a safe and comfortable environment.
* Encourage independence and skill development.
* Follow individual care plans and ensure client well-being.
* Maintain accurate documentation and uphold professional standards.
Requirements:
* Relevant experience in disability support or a related field.
* Cert III or IV in Disability Support, Aged Care, or Community Services (preferred).
* NDIS Worker Screening Check & First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Empathetic, patient, and adaptable approach to care.
* Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and evenings.
