About The Role

Be part of this once in a generation project that will deliver clean energy to 6 million homes for the next 60 years. Sizewell C will see the creation of a 3.2 Gigawatt nuclear power station on the Suffolk coast to provide reliable load low‐carbon electricity.

The Civil Works Alliance (CWA) is an extended delivery enterprise involving Sizewell C and three international construction companies: Balfour Beatty, Bouygues Travaux Publics and Laing O'Rourke. We are more than just an alliance; we bring together a single delivery organisation with years of learning and experience from other major complex infrastructure programmes worldwide.

What you'll be doing

The CWA communications manager will be responsible for establishing, developing and supporting CWA internal communication channels and creating suitable content for these channels. The role will play an important part within the CWA communications team, supporting the CWA head of communications where required, and ensuring that the communication priorities for the CWA are addressed. They will work in close cooperation with the Sizewell C communications team on site.

Other responsibilities will include providing support for external communications, crisis communications, digital communications/social media and branding activities.

Responsibilities
* Raise and maintain the CWA profile on site, promoting the CWA values and behaviour expectations in the process.
* Sourcing content and preparing regular staff briefings.
* Manage content and its distribution across all CWA internal communication channels.
* Provide guidance and support to other members of the communications team.
* Build solid working relationships with the communications team at Sizewell C and the alliance partners.
* Work closely with the delivery and support teams to help ensure that key information is effectively disseminated across the project, as required.
* Prepare editing content suitable for differing audiences.
Who We're Looking ForSkills & Experience
* Significant experience in communications, working in a busy environment where priorities need to be managed.
* Experience managing communications activities on‐site on a major construction project.
* Excellent writing and communication skills.
* An eye for detail.
* Ability to work to strict deadlines.
* Team player.
* 42 hours per week.
