About the Role
Join our team at the landfill site, where you'll receive full training to operate a wide range of plant machinery and vehicles. This is a hands-on, full-time role offering long-term stability and opportunities to grow.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Operating a range of machinery to manage and compact waste, including excavators, front-end loaders, compactors, and forklifts.
- Full training provided, every ticket and license can be provided.
- Driving site vehicles to transport waste and recyclables across the facility
- Handling incoming waste: stockpiling, compacting, and processing materials
- Screening and sorting waste to ensure proper disposal
- Working across both landfill and transfer station operations
- Loading and unloading vehicles, pushing waste, and managing different waste streams
- Inspecting customer loads to determine appropriate disposal methods

- Monday to Friday schedule
- Early starts at 6:00am and overtime available
