Join our fast-growing shade structure manufacturing business on the Sunshine Coast. We are expanding and looking for an experienced draftsperson / steel detailer to join our friendly team.
Applicants must be experienced using AutoCAD or similar programs and steel knowledge would be an advantage.
Main duties will include:
* Drafting and designing steel shade structures for commercial, industrial and mining purposes.
* Producing accurate fabrication drawings for manufacture.
* Using design skills to overcome fabrication and manufacturing challenges.
* Producing drawings for clients as required to assist with sales.
* Preparing bill of materials for manufacture.
* Producing 3D models for quotations.
* Producing and submitting engineer certificates for approval.
The successful applicant will have the following skills / experience:
* AutoCAD, or a similar drafting program
* Fabrication / workshop experience
* Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)
* The ability to analyse
* Time management
* Good decision maker
* Punctual with a good work ethic
* Problem solving skills
* Reliability and honesty
* Excellent attention to detail
* Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Excel, and Word
