An exciting opportunity exists at The Gap State High School for a dynamic individual to fill a permanent Teacher Aide role in inclusion support.
We're seeking an enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to support classroom activities, student welfare, and administrative tasks, with training provided as needed.
This position is being offered in a Permanent Part-Time capacity (0.47FTE or 36 hours per fortnight).

About the Role:
As a Teacher Aide, you will play a vital role in delivering quality education by supporting teachers in the preparation and delivery of engaging learning materials and activities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide in-class support for students with specialised learning and behavioural needs.
* Assist with literacy, numeracy, and other classroom activities.
* Support teachers and students during sports, excursions, and extracurricular programs.
* Help prepare, store, and organise teaching materials and equipment.
* Provide clerical assistance, including typing and photocopying.
* Supervise students in the playground, on buses, and during other activities.
* Promote student wellbeing by contributing to their health, safety, and welfare, including providing first aid if required.
* Assist with practical activities such as science, textiles, and cooking.
* Perform other duties as directed by the supervisor.
