As a Workshop Mechanic, you will provide high‐quality maintenance services to our customers at their field locations. You will collaborate with cross‐functional teams to deliver successful projects and develop innovations. You will contribute to the success of a large team that plays an integral part in our business.
Responsibilities
* Ensure that all HSE procedures are followed at location and participate in all pre‐job/toolbox meetings.
* Carry out repairs and maintenance as per base requirement on equipment.
* Assist in rig‐up of equipment during function testing in the yard and with workshop activities.
* Operate and maintain equipment for pre‐commissioning projects both offshore and onshore facilities under instruction from supervisor.
* Inspect equipment prior to operation at site and safely rig up equipment as per operating procedures at site.
* Ensure that maintenance and site procedures are followed on all work scopes and record performance data.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
* Have a technical diploma or extensive maintenance related experience in heavy duty diesel engines, liquid nitrogen pumps, liquid pumps, air compressors, air boosters, etc.
* Have proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.
* Have an extensive knowledge and expertise in pre‐commissioning equipment and ability to troubleshoot faults.
* Have an advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems and computer skills.
Salary Range
AUD 80,000 - 110,000 per annum.

This is predominantly field based work with work in BH base needed from time to time. Please discuss your preferred working patterns with the recruiter during the process.
