Lead ICT Recruitment Specialist
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Lead ICT Recruitment Specialist to lead and grow a team of recruiters in Sydney, Melbourne, and Queensland.
The Role
As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the performance of your team, including coaching, motivating, and developing them to achieve their individual targets. You will also work closely with our Talent Acquisition partner to grow the team on the East Coast.
You will have the autonomy to manage your own desk and recruit permanent roles within the ICT sector. This role offers a unique blend of leadership and recruitment experience, making it an ideal opportunity for someone looking to build and grow a team.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct regular 1-1's with team members to discuss performance, training needs, and general queries
* Facilitate weekly team meetings to run through team jobs and business updates
* Complete weekly and monthly reports for senior management
* Assist with the onboarding and training of new team members and provide ongoing development to existing team members
* Conduct 6-monthly performance reviews with consultants
* Attend business operations meetings and escalate any ongoing issues
* Act as the main point of escalation for both consultants and client issues
* Attend client meetings with consultants and conduct quarterly business reviews
* Participate in ad-hoc business improvement projects
* Organise team incentives and work events
* Participate in contract negotiations (pricing, bid meetings)
* Manage the team budget and analyse trends and opportunities for growth
About You
We are looking for an individual with a minimum of 5 years' experience in a Senior role within an ICT Recruitment environment. You should have a real interest and passion for leading and developing a team, ideally with some experience managing a team. You should also enjoy cultivating a great culture where you empower and encourage others.
You should exhibit versatility and be able to deal with conflicting priorities throughout the day. You should show real resilience and a persistent drive to succeed.
