PERTHEXPO is Western Australia's leading exhibition and display contractor. We deliver large, complex builds across PCEC, Crown, Pan Pacific and major venues. We are expanding our Power and Audio Visual team and are seeking a General hand who can work safely, independently and to tight timeframes.
What you will be doing
* Installing televisions, LED screens and plug-and-play power systems for exhibition stands.
* Running and managing PERTHEXPO's approved power distribution equipment within non-licensed exhibition scope.
* Delivering and installing AV equipment, cabling and accessories.
* Providing technical support to exhibitors onsite and pre-event.
* Assisting with general exhibition builds and deliveries when required.
* Maintaining and managing condition, tagging and storage of AV equipment.
* Working with project managers and operations staff to ensure all power and AV is delivered to required quality and timeframes.
* Regular weekend and after-hours work during show periods.
About you
* Able to work unsupervised, prioritise tasks and show initiative.
* Previous technical experience with Audio Visual or event power systems.
* Good computer knowledge for display configuration and troubleshooting.
* Current driver's licence.
* Physically capable of manual handling in line with WHS procedures.
