Responsibilities
- To provide assessment, treatment and recovery-based interventions to individuals and their families who experience responsible mental illness. The broader service delivery model of MHDAS includes provision of high-quality interventions that are consumer-centred, family/carer inclusive and are delivered in a timely and coordinated manner in line with the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022.

About Mental Health, Drug and Alcohol Services (MHDAS)
MHDAS provides integrated and recovery oriented mental health, drugs and alcohol assessment, treatment and community support to people of all ages within the Barwon region. Our service is internationally recognised for its innovative clinical programs and integrated models of practice that are client centred, accessible and family inclusive. We are undergoing co-design to redesign our service system.
About The Role
To provide assessment, treatment and recovery-based interventions to individuals and their families who experience serious mental illness, in line with the Victorian Mental Health and Wellbeing Act 2022.
About You
- You are a Registered Clinical Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker or Registered Psychiatric Nurse.
- A demonstrated high level of clinical skills in the assessment, treatment and continuing care of adults with mental health disorders in a community setting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills; ability to maintain effective working relationships in a dynamic environment.
- Hold a current Victorian Drivers Licence; able to work a seven day rotating roster, including evening shifts and public holidays.
