Remote Area Dietitian Opportunity
In the heart of the Northern Territory, a challenging and rewarding role has become available for an experienced dietitian to join our team in Katherine. This position offers a unique chance to make a meaningful difference in the health and wellbeing of diverse populations, including Indigenous communities.
You will have the opportunity to provide expert nutritional advice to the food services team and interventions in acute, sub-acute, and community settings, helping to manage chronic diseases, improve patient recovery, and promote healthier lifestyles.

The Top End of the Northern Territory offers diverse and exciting medicine, with presentations such as tropical medicine conditions not seen 'down south'. The town of Katherine has a population of approximately 11,000 and services the Big Rivers Region, which has a population of around 22,000 and covers a geographical area larger than Victoria.
We are seeking an individual with strong communication skills, who can work effectively in a multidisciplinary team environment. You will be required to work closely with other health professionals to deliver culturally sensitive, patient-centred care.
