This leading retail client based in Sydney (hybrid work workplace) are seeking a Communications Change Manager to develop the communications strategy for a major IT system change program
About the role
Responsibilities:
Review detailed impact assessments to understand the change communication requirements.
Build a detailed communication and engagement plan that includes stakeholder identification, messaging, channel selection, and timing.
Develop communication review and approval processes that align with the project governance structure.
Manage the communication and engagement plan and materials through review and approval processes, ensuring that all stakeholders are informed and engaged throughout the project.
Develop communication materials that effectively communicate the IT system change to stakeholders.
Work at the direction of business functional owners, Change Lead and Training Lead in an agile delivery model to ensure that communication and engagement activities are aligned with project timelines and objectives.
Measure the effectiveness of communication and engagement activities, and adjust the plan as necessary to ensure stakeholder buy-in and adoption of the IT system change.
Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
7+ years of experience in communication and change management, preferably in an IT workplace.
Experience developing and executing communication and engagement plans for IT system changes.
Robust project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex information to a variety of stakeholders.
Experience working in an agile delivery model.
Solid analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.
